Energy Safe Victoria will introduce a new licensing regime for lineworkers from 1 January 2021. This means all currently registered lineworkers are eligible to obtain a licence which will initially be provided at no cost.
Licensing of lineworkers is a priority for the Victorian Government. It ensures lineworkers have met the minimum requirements and understand the complexities of their work.
Register as a lineworker
Lineworkers must register with ESV as soon as possible.
If you have previously registered with ESV, you must now register for a licence by clicking the “Register details” button above.
If you have already commenced the registration process, click the “Register details” button above to continue.
Subject to confirming registration details, all lineworkers already registered with ESV will automatically be eligible to transition to their first licence at no cost.
However, if you don’t register or confirm your details before 1 January 2021, costs may apply.
