Electrician (Supervised) Worker's (ES) licence

Information about the Electrician (Supervised) Worker's licence.

Overview

This licence is only available to people who have previously held a B-Grade licence and have continued to renew their licence every five years.

An Electrician (Supervised) Worker’s licence is issued for a period of up to five years and entitles the holder to carry out all electrical installation work in Victoria under the supervision of a licensed electrician.

This licence must be renewed on time in order to be retained.

If a person does not renew this licence type, eligibility is then required for the Supervised Workers licence.

Fees

Refer to ESV’s Licensing fees for each licence type.

The application fee for the Electrician (Supervised) Worker’s licence includes a $70 non-refundable administration component.

Application fees must be paid at the time the licence application is submitted. Credit card payments are preferred.

Licence renewal

Renewing a licence

ESV will send an email reminder to you 3 months prior to your licence expiry,

It is your responsibility to ensure your licence is current and that ESV has the correct contact details for you.

Energy Safe Victoria must cancel the licence of an electrical worker who does not apply for renewal of the licence by the renewal date specified on the licence card.
