Lennox Pulse Furnaces in Alpine Areas
American experience has shown that Lennox Pulse furnaces manufactured between 1983 and 1990 may develop a leak in the heat exchanger. Although this leak is minor, for very tightly sealed premises in cold climates such as those found in Australian alpine areas, this represents a possible health hazard if carbon monoxide occurs due to poor combustion.
The heaters can be identified by the model number G14 or GSR 14 followed by a series of numbers and letters. This is on the name tag on inside the heater front door. If the door has the name Pulse 21 on the front door it is NOT part of the program.
Owners of such installations should call Lennox Freecall 1800 811 780 with the above information to arrange for the heaters to be inspected.

, a division of Heatcraft Australia Pty Ltd, or contact Energy Safe Victoria on 1800 652 563 during business hours.
